Education Opportunities

Sunday School

Sunday School is offered from early September (Rally Day) through May for all children, ages 4 through 8th grade. Sunday School classes generally begin between 10:15 and 10:30 a.m. and last until about 11:15 a.m. Roni Brock serves as Sunday School Superintendent.

Confirmation Class

Confirmation at St. Paul’s is a two year component usually completed in 7th & 8th grades. Classes are usually held bi-weekly from September through May. Students are expected to attend classes, take part in worship on Sundays and attend two confirmation retreats. Separate arrangements for confirmation instruction can be made in consultation with the Parish Education Committee for older students or others with special needs.

The Rite of Confirmation normally takes place on Reformation Sunday, the last Sunday of October, but can take place anytime after completion of the two years of instruction. Students are expected to reflect on their faith in a written statement, presentation, or service project and will have an interview before Confirmation Sunday, which reviews the two year experience.

Adult Education

Adult Education is held on many Sundays from early Fall to Spring between 10:15 and 11:15 a.m. and at various times during the summer.
